Visualogue|23. Photographing Saudi Society|Olivia Arthur

After a long long summer/Ramadan/Eid break, we’re back again for this month’s visualogue.  This time we are hosting British Photographer Olivia Arthur, who is visiting from the UK. Olivia is a professional photographer/photo-journalist who is currently working on a reportage in Saudi Arabia. She has recently conducted a photography workshop for women in Jeddah, and has had her students’ work exhibited at the recently opened “My Father’s House” photography exhibition organized by the British Council and held at the “Beit Al-Bunt” Museum in Downtwon Jeddah.

Join us as she talks about her recent work and her current project photographing Saudi society. To continue our recent trend, we are introducing yet another new location for the visualogue. The atmosphere at Studio “hna” (هنا) will be an appropriate backdrop for the topic’s highly anticipated discussion.
