مسجد الملك سعود من أكبر المساجد في مدينة جدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية. يصل قطر قبته إلى ٢٠ متر في حين يصل إرتفاعها إلى ٤٢ متر. أما المأذنة يَصْل إرتفاعها إلى ٦٠ متر. المساحه الواسعه للمسجد تستطيع إستيعاب أكثر من ٥٠٠٠ مصلي وتضيف هذه المساحه الشاسعة إلى هيبه المبنى. تصميم المسجد الفريد يتكون من أربعه أروقه للصلاه وتغطي الأروقه مساحه ٥٠٠٠ متر تطل على ساحه مغطاة بمظلات شمسيه.

يؤمن المهندس عبدالواحد الوكيل في مبدأ التأثير البيئي: هو أخذ بعين الإعتبار التاريخ والمجتمع و البيئة الطبيعية لموقع المبنى. على مدى أربعة عقود قد بنى المهندس العبقري عبدالواحد الوكيل المساجد في جميع أنحاء الشرق الأوسط، في حين لا يزال يحافظ على التوازن بين الإستمرارية والتغيير . مسجد الملك سعود يمثل الثقافة التاريخية الحجازيه في حين لا يزال  يقف بشكل رائع ومُلفت ضمن مباني العصر الحديث.

King Saud Mosque is the largest mosque in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The largest dome has a 20-meter span while reaching a height of 42 meters. The minaret reaches a height of 60 meters. The grandness of the mosque allows it to accommodate over 5,000 worshippers while adding greatness to its majestic presence. The mosque is uniquely designed with four iwan prayer halls covering 5,000 square meters while opening on a central sun-shaded court.

Master architect Abdel-Wahed El-Wakil believes in the concept of environmental context: Taking into consideration the history, community, and the natural environment around the building. For four decade,s Abdel Wahed El-Wakil has built mosques all over the Middle East while still maintaining a balance between continuity and change. The King Saud mosque continues to represent the Hijazi culture while still grandly standing its ground among today’s modern age buildings.
